Considerable investment ensures Banfi produce a top quality product and this blend has the fragrance and freshness of Pinot Grigio balanced by the weight and structure of Chardonnay. Definitely not a neutral Italian white wine.

Tuscany
Tuscany has come a long way since the days of the wicker flask and is now one of Italy’s most dynamic regions. It is a beautiful region of hills and ancient cities, herb scented scrubland, olive groves and small, quality-conscious wine producers.
In the latter part of the twentieth century, the Tuscans took stock and halted their decline into cheap plonk. They embraced modern techniques and international grapes and applied these to traditional methods to produce some stupendous wines of finesse and complexity. Chianti is the best-loved wine of the region and an innovative programme of planting and experimentation is ensuring the meteoric and continuing rise in its quality. Many of the greatest new wines fall beyond the DOC system and take pride in their "super-Tuscan" label. Other classics include Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
